Veneers: Veneers are a new technique which involves attaching very thin plastic or porcelain coverings to teeth. Veneers can be used for whitening and reshaping teeth. It can often be used to repair chipped teeth or to eliminate unsightly gaps between teeth.

Veneers usually requires no anesthesia (no needles). It has allowed us to give many patients the smile they always wanted.

            We now also offer "Lumineers" - for a beautiful new smile without drilling.

Lumineers are a new type of porcelain veneer that can usually be done without any removal of natural tooth structure, without drilling and without using any anesthetics. Lumineers can be used to close gaps, repair chips and to whiten and straighten teeth.

Bleaching: Bleaching is used when the only change we wish to make to the teeth is to whiten their color. The procedure is safe and simple.  We offer at our office both Home Bleaching  (see below) and   Zoom! - The In-Office Whitening System seen on ABC's Extreme Makeover. Home Bleaching:   A thin plastic tray is fabricated to precisely fit over the teeth to be bleached. After an initial treatment at our office, you will be given this tray and a supply of bleaching gel to use at home. The tray is filled with the gel and worn by the patient for several hours each day or at night while they sleep.

After two to five weeks of use, a dramatic whitening of the teeth is usually obtained.

White Fillings for Back Teeth: Unless you are very lucky you probably have several back teeth with unsightly silver colored fillings. We now have white plastic materials which we can use for most fillings on back teeth. These plastics have been shown to be resistant to wear. They are less likely to fall out than silver fillings, require less drilling and look much better.
